Six villas on a sheltered bay on the southern coast of Sumba. Built almost entirely by hand, by people from the island, from materials that carry memory. A place made slowly, over many years, by a family whose lives have long been woven into Indonesia.

Along the coast, limestone cliffs, grasslands, jungle and white-sand beaches meet the Indian Ocean, stretching west towards the horizon.
Within the sheltered cove, coral reef lies beneath clear azure and turquoise waters, while the bay opens to an immense sky.
At the edge of Manupeu Tanah Daru National Park, forest surrounds our property with birdsong at dawn, hornbills overhead and fireflies after dark.
